Account Security And Recovery

PredictDog distinguishes between ordinary account access and higher-risk actions.

Extra verification is expected for sensitive actions

Some actions can require an additional verification step even if you are already signed in.

Typical examples include:

  • withdraw-related actions
  • wallet export or recovery-related actions
  • connect flows that expose or change sensitive wallet state

Recovery prompts do not always mean account recovery

In PredictDog, a recovery-related prompt can refer to different situations.

It may mean:

  • identity verification is required
  • a wallet-sensitive action needs a stronger check
  • a product rail is waiting on funding or fee recovery

That is why you should read the specific product message closely instead of assuming every recovery prompt means the same thing.

Practical safety guidance

  • Use the dedicated login and signup routes for ordinary account access.
  • Treat sensitive prompts separately from normal browsing.
  • If a product asks for a specific settlement or funding rail, use that exact rail instead of moving random assets around.

Wallet custody and asset safety

PredictDog currently uses Turnkey-hosted wallet custody for user-linked wallets, and keeps higher-risk asset-moving actions separate from ordinary trading automation.

If you want the architecture-level explanation of why Polymarket and Predict.fun do not use the exact same execution path, and why user funds are not meant to be treated like one pooled platform wallet, read Turnkey Custody And Asset Safety.

PredictDog is designed to fail explicitly when a protected prerequisite is missing instead of silently guessing what you intended.
